For our monthly party, we celebrated on July 4th. We not only celebrated our country’s birthday, but also our son’s. His birthday, is actually July 28th. 🙂
For this year’s celebration, I made t-shirts with glittery, heat transfer vinyl. I used my favorite toy, the Silhouette Cameo. The vinyl I purchased from Amazon, in a variety of colors, and
I used a firework display and stars from the Silhouette design store.
Here is an example of the firework design on my hubby’s red t-shirt, and one of our grand daughters’ blue shirt.
I love my Silhouette Cameo! The Silhouettedesignstore, has so many wonderful designs, and they are always adding more. If you are are looking for a die cutting machine, I highly recommend you try the Silhouette.
They have introduced a new machine, that can cut more materials, including metal. If you like to use metal in your art, this might be the machine for you. It’s called the Curio, and you can be sure it will be on my next wish list. 🙂
We had a lot of fun, with smoke bombs and grand blooms, (the grands’ favorite), and Mentos/Diet Coke fountains. The food was delicious and the company fantastic!
For our son’s birthday, we bought him a carrot cake, one of his favorites. We also bought him a journal with an embossed dragon and a set of disposable fountain pens. He loves to write and create his own RPGs.
I hope everyone had a great 4th!
